Sorry, but I don't think there is any way to remove hair products without shampooing to break them down.

Sorry, but washing is the only way to get it completely out. You could try brushing it , but there would still be lots of gel left in your hair. You could fill a spray bottle with water and spray your hair, then brush it and that would help more then just brushing your hair, but you still wouldn't have to wash it .

Of course you can straighten 5-7 in. hair! Go for it! How you do it depends on what you want. Do you want this to be permanent? Just for the day? If you want to do it for the day, I recommend deep conditioning your hair, then dry it (it doesn't matter if it is fuzzy) Use Paul Mitchell Spray Wax all over your hair (mostly on the ends). Don't use TOO much, you don't want a grease pit. Then, flat iron your hair. If you are going to be ironing it often, I would invest in a good iron, such as the Chi. (I was a hairdresser for three years, and the Chi was very good to me) If you want something permanent, you need to go to a reputable salon and let someone physically look at your hair. No one can tell you anything without touching and seeing your hair. When it comes to chemicals, you can never be too careful! Good luck!

You can comb or brush some of it out but washing it is the only guaranteed way. There is also a product you can buy at a local Target or pharmacy for non-water cleaning of the hair.

um, unfortunately the only way to get any kind of hair product out of your hair is to wash it, gel included.
you could try brushing it, that would remove some of it, but washing it is the only way.
sorry

Washing it is the only way I have found you get rid of it completely. Why can't you wash it?
