Oblivion having problems on a Emachines t3256 with nvidia 6200.?

When I play these jaggies (jagged polygonal glitches) come out of the ground or, pretty much anything and its literally impossible to do anything important on thisgame anymore. I have 1024 mb of ram and a 160 gig hard drive.

The problem you describe is called "artifacts".

Your PC and / or your graphics card isn't powerful enough, as configured, for the game you are trying to play.

The nVidia card is a good one, but, if you read the hardware requirements for the game, they probably don't recommend it, or may have some tips on setting it up.
