Seeing the falls is free but it will cost you to park your car. There are always tourists at the falls but of course in the nice weather, it's a very popular destination. Dress comfortably and casually according to the season.

It's open in pretty much every season,be it Spring,Summer,Autumn or winter, though some services might not be available. And as you visit during different seasons, the sceneries will differ slightly,so I think you can go there anytime depending on your schedule but of course if you visit during peak seasons like summer, expect a lot of crowd though it also does mean that it's probably a better season to visit. But any season is fine cos the experience is different and what you wear will be dependent on the season of course. Most things are free if I remember correctly unless you are up for some special rides etc.

Cost 50 cents to get accross the border. Bring a poncho or something, because it is very misty. Go when it is off-season because it will be crowded. But is lots of fun, I went to Hard Rock Cafe there, which was cool.
