Religion or faith in Christ. I see a huge difference. I see nothing unfair abut a person rejection of Christ. He is tender and loving. He did everything required to make us pure before a Holy God. All we must do is except the gift He offers. You can be any religion you wish and believe you have the right one. It doesn't matter. It's the gift of life we except from Christ that makes a difference. Jim

Well, I'm a Christian, but a bit different because I'm LDS. We believe that everyone will get a chance to accept Jesus Christ, and the laws of his Gospel, whether in this life or the next. Hell is not a place of endless torment... It is a place and state of being where a person lacks the ability to progress eternally, because they lack the character traits to do so.
We (LDS) have been told that anyone who lives up to their knowledge of right and wrong, and who would have accepted the truth wholeheartedly if they had known where to find it, will ultimately be with God in "heaven" for eternity.
If you live honestly according to your own conscience, and always seek the truth, you have nothing to fear from God.

Not idfficult at all. Just think if there is one allpowerful god and he created the true religion then we all would be of the same one.
Check with history and you will se that religions were developed over time byman and had nothing at all to do with any god.
Religions are a way of controling the masses by a few. This is exactly what religion is about. control of the masses for the benifit of a few.
The greeds and romans had many gods and truely believed in them. We study them in school and laugh at the ancient people. They would laugh at us for believing that one god could have created it all and not have had help.
There is no such thing as the true religion. There is not and never has been .

God has no part of man invented "religion". You may choose to participate with some group of people who worship God with some man invented rite or ritual... but that will not get you into Heaven.... Only those of The Church will enter Heaven... and The Church is not any of the "religions" of man.
All who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation. Those become part of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. Those are the ones of The True Christian Faith. Only those of The Church will enter Heaven.
It will not matter, when you stand before The Judge, what "denomination" or sect or cult you belonged to on Earth... It will only matter that you come to God as He prescribes.... if you do not... you will not enter Heaven

God will hold us accountable for acting according to our conscience. We won't be condemned for what we didn't know and feel.
There is a purpose to all this ambiguity that you're seeing with regard to religion. We're on this earth to learn and to grow and to really understand the principles of happiness.
God can and does give us truth through scriptures, prayer, and prophets, but to really understand we must experience what happens when people make both good and bad decisions. This helps us understand how to distinguish good from bad for ourselves and not just because we're told by some powerful being.
There is currently a church on the earth that is lead by Jesus Christ through a prophet. This is how I've come to understand the purpose of earth life and it's a great blessing.

Does anybody know that any of this religious crap is true? Noooo...the lemmings just blindly believe in a myth anyway. Is that really any basis for a thoughtful, fulfilling life? I mean, has anyone come back from either heaven or hell with an answer as to if they exist? Nooooo. Show some proof that any of this religious bullsheet is worth the tremendous amount of trouble, heartache, sleepless nights, wars, etc, etc, that believing any of it has caused...

Pleasing God is not about religion, but about His Son, Jesus Christ. Pleasing God is about accepting the sacrifice of his Son Jesus at the cross of Calvary and believing in the resurrection of Jesus. it is accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, believing that he died for your sins and that he is your advocate with the Father in heaven. It is about allowing the Holy Spirit into your heart to change your life and put you on the path of righteousness.
Religion is about self-righteousness, about doing things your way instead of God's way. Religion is about observes days and diets and practicing rituals and letting other people live your life for you in the name of God, rather than you living your life in the name of God. Religion is about you and other making your decisions about how to live your life, rather than listening to God and following his direction. Religion never saved anybody. Religion is man-made. God never intended that there be religion on the earth. Satan is the author of all religion because he is the author of all lies and the lie of religion is that you can get to heaven by a means other than Jesus Christ. You do not have to go to church in order to be a Christian---you just have to believe in Jesus and do the will of your Father in heaven.

i know which is the true religion and i am somebody..not nobody....i want to tell you that yes...Jesus said that we must believe in Him....and that God The Father..said that all who believe in Jesus shall be saved..and i don't tell you ..you will go to hell..if you don't.believe...i tell you to read what He said...I am telling you He is Son of God..and part of God..of The Holly Trinity..and also a God as eternal condition..i don't know how to tell you...to reproduce what God wants...i just cann tell you what i already told you..and besides..i can tell you that Jesus is right in every word He says ..while the other religions are nothing..comparing to what He /or God The Father says..I am telling you God has sacrificed His only Son for us..so take few minutes to read and feel with your heart..the truth..that comes from His words..and you will one day maybe...accept that He is right and true..
for e.g.Jesus says that a man musn't look to other woman...and want her..other then his wife...if a man does so..i guess..he..can destroy his wife 's love for him..and even her life..also a woman that looks to other man then his husband and his husband loves her and just her according to the reasons of God..and love.. .then she can destroy his love and life.. while other religion says a man can have up to 4 wives..so it is a totally oposite thing..how can a woman love and stay with a man who is loved by three other women and all of them are their wives..and sleeps with them all..has children with all of them...actually to be sincere..i saw men like this..and i am totally..amazed...actually..those women should demand ironically the right to marry four men...at the same time..i think their religion shall turn imediatelly into Christianity...but honestly..do you think that a woman could love his husband if he has other women or 3 besides her?

It seems that each one of us believes we R right & others R wrong.
Even among X'stians, Cathos believe Protestants R pagans & not X'ians. Protestants protest @ this inference.
Shi'ite & Sunnie Muslims think each other as Jehannumis.
It is best that one follows one's own instincts & dictates of Conscience which can never go wrong.

During the 1,000 year period after Christ returns he will teach everyone the true religion.
You're right, none of us know what is true anymore. It's all been changed so much.
Christ knows this. That's why we are going to be re-taught.
