For one thing, you'd get auditory and/or visual hallucinations. You'd also get "the nods," where you drift off to sleep for a moment involuntarily. You'll also feel like crap. If you were foolish enough to drive, you'd probably crash.
We need sleep. I wouldn't try depriving yourself of it.

I am sure, it will affect how you function. Everyone needs to get a good night sleep, in order to go about their daily lives. It makes for a much better day.

A person could fall asleep at inappropriate times (ie: eating, driving, talking), a person could loose their ability to think and concentrate, and, in extreme cases, nausea occurs.

after 48 hours of sleep deprivation, you are legally insane. you start having hallucinations, paranoia, seeing black spots in youor perifial vision, etc.

youd be extremely weak so weak that if you wantes to do something you wouldnt be able to because your so tired. then youd be forced to get some sleep
