Page 43 kind of sums it up:

"The overwhelming evidence at trial established that ID is a religious view, a mere re-labeling of creationism, and not a scientific theory."

The ruling was made by Judge Jones - a Republican Christian and, the odd bit of sour grapes aside from Creationist writers aside, has been accepted. Certainly the school board had no plans to appeal the decision.

So, since ID has been scrutinised in court and failed to pass the test, why do people continue to portray this discredited doctrine as science?

SeeThe Light:

I don't know if you have problems reading but the point is that it isn't as credibile as the theory of evolution. That's why one is taught in school science classes and the other isn't.

Do you understand or should I use words with fewer syllables?

The law used to say it was illegal to teach evolution in schools. Fortunately that one was overturned too when it was found to be wrong.

Because they're hoping that if they stick to it long enough, people will give in and believe them. When people believe something so thouroughly at their core, it's that much more difficult to allow something to break them of that belief.

Evolutionists decided they would have a debate with God..they challenged God to the debate and He said "OK."...Since God was the guest and came to the evolutionist "home field" He got to begin first. God began by saying, " I can prove creation easily. The first thing I want you evolutionists to do, is make a mud pie from scratch" The evolutionists laughed and the audience giggled..."are you serious God?" they asked. Yes, make a mud pie from scratch. And so the evolutionists said, "Ok, but first we need to gather some dirt, then run down to the nearest stream and get some water and find some aluminum to make a pie plate with" Then God said, "No, no, no! Those are my ingredients, I made those, make your own dirt and water and create your own aluminum.....from scratch." The audience was in great expectation as the evolutionsists huddled up in orer to contrive a concoction and then the evoutionists respoded with this rebuttle, and said, "God, how can you expect us to do that? How can one create mud and water and aluminun from scratch? " The mediator of the debate quickly declared God the winner, because in the rebuttal, evolutionists admitted that they could not "create" those ingredients from scratch, thus admitting that they were in fact....created. And so God was declared the winner forever and ever.

I will say that ID is nothing but creationism in a new hat, and has no place in science classrooms.

I will also say that judges are not scientific experts, and are not qualified to pass a judgment on the merit of scientific theories. Only scientists are, and, by and large, they, too, have rejected ID as nonscientific.

Because many Christians' entire body of scientific knowledge comes from what Pastor Fred tells them in church sermons.

The sad fact remains that this is not God's world. God's Kingdom is still not of this world, as Jesus Christ made clear in John 18:36. It is even more tragic that another being is ruler of this world, right here and right now—Satan the devil.

The apostle Paul described the spiritual blindness that envelops the world and pointed out the source of that blindness. "But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them" (2 Corinthians 4:3, 4). Who is the god of this age? He is none other than Satan, the great fallen superangel (Ezekiel 28:14-17). He is truly this world's ruler. Jesus Christ recognized that, saying that in the judgment "the ruler of this world will be cast out" (John 12:31).

Although we cannot see Satan, his influence on the world is pervasive. Paul understood this, telling the members in Ephesus, "And you He [God] made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience" (Ephesians 2:1, 2). The result of the devil's influence is that, before conversion, "we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others" (verse 3).

Satan spiritually influences humanity to reject God and God's law. Under Satan's influence, "the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can [it] be" (Romans 8:7). Separated from God, man chooses to go his own way, with devastating and tragic results. "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death" (Proverbs 14:12; 16:25).

Satan's influence is so great that he "deceives the whole world" (Revelation 12:9). The entire world "lies under the sway of the wicked one" (1 John 5:19). Under Satan's influence, humanity has rejected God's revelation and guidance and built societies and civilizations on a wrong foundation.

When Jesus Christ returns, "the kingdoms of this world [will] become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!" (Revelation 11:15). Satan's world, built on a foundation of lies and deception, will come crashing down, replaced by the Kingdom of truth and light.

IDiots have no understand of or respect for science. Their goal is to find a pretense to attack science, and they hope that their listeners are as unintelligent as they are. In many cases, they are right.
