Did god write all the laws in my state and in D,.C.?
Don't think so.
I do seem to recall something about Lot having sex with his own daughter after being saved from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and all that. Kind of makes you wonder why god wanted to destory that place and save him, doesn't it?
There are genetic reasons for being against incest which have nothing to do with religion.
I would like to ask you, are you saying that if there were no religion, you would ignore the laws and customs of the society you live in? Are you really that savage wtihout the hand of god to restrain you?

Do you think that the only thing that makes people 'good' is belief in your deity? No incest is not condoned nor should it be no matter what belief system you hold. Just because we don't believe in your deity or for some any other deity either doesn't mean they are immoral. That is a vast generalization that should not be used.

That's really sick. Just because they say they don't believe in God doesn't mean they have no morals.

I know several atheists who are far better people than some of you alleged Christians.

You give Christianity a bad name when you post garbage like this.

I feel ashamed of people like you who make those of us who love God look bad.

There are rules. They don't derive from God. A good chunk of Mosaic Law derives from the secular code of Hammurabi.

No, I don't. Atheism does not mean no morals. Get yourself at least a mediocre education, then come back.

*slow handclap*

Actually, atheists are moral through choice and reasoning rather than having to be good out of fear. One could argue that atheist morality is therefore based on a superior footing.

Uhh..no? But why do priests think it's okay to molest little boys? Considering there are "rules and God".
