Radiation therapy kills the cancer cells that are supplied with oxygen. A catagory of cancer cells are with oxygen, partial oxygen, and without oxygen. or apoxic,hypoxic ect... You have to go back for many treatments since it only kills cancer cells that are oxyginated.
