yep, you are right... we make the choice... to spend eternity with God or to be seperated from Him forever.... people want to blame God for being horrible and punishing us, but we choose 'who' we want to follow.... we make that choice for ourselves....
Be blessed!

I responded just about the comparable question from a fifteen 365 days previous lady those days. i visit tell you what I informed her via fact even christians' go incorrect and while God informed them they have been incorrect i grew to become into threatened. His bible isn't a decision of information' yet a diary (Gods') of many lives' lived in the international. Genesis a million v 27. God might nicely be male or lady. Asa. Elijah. Esther. Hezekiah. Hilkiah. Jeremiah. Jesus. (John sixteen v 28. And Jesus pronounced back I bypass away the international - you do no longer say back in case you haven't any longer been earlier) activity. Jonah. Kings' Minstrel. Malachi. Micah. Moses. (Deuteronomy 29 v 2 - 6 the place Moses pronounced i'm your God) Nehemiah. Samson. Samuel. Solomon. Zechariah. Christians' could fairly placed their interpretation on issues' than have self assurance actuality, yet they'll have self assurance right here that's additionally authentic. Abraham Lincoln - John F. Kennedy. A L. elected to congress in 1846. J F ok elected to congress in 1946. A L elected president in 1860. J F ok elected president in 1960. the two have been fascinated with civil rights'. A L grew to become into succeeded by a Southerner observed as Andrew Johnson born in 1808. J F ok grew to become into succeeded by a southerner observed as Lyndon B Johnson born in 1908. Lincolns' secretary grew to become into observed as Kennedy. Kennedys' secretary grew to become into observed as Lincoln. ultimately I also have a asserting. it somewhat is not any longer whether you think in God that counts', it somewhat is whether or no longer He believes' in you. God has no longer hardened their heart in direction of' you and God got here many cases' after Jesus. like each and every diaries' somebody stopped writing. you're prepared to study and characteristic an open heart. it somewhat is extra proper to God than people who refuse to settle for his actuality.

The temperature of Heaven can be rather accurately computed. Our authority is Isaiah 30:26, "Moreover, the light of the Moon shall be as the light of the Sun and the light of the Sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days." Thus Heaven receives from the Moon as much radiation as we do from the Sun, and in addition 7 x 7 (49) times as much as the Earth does from the Sun, or 50 times in all. The light we receive from the Moon is one 1/10,000 of the light we receive from the Sun, so we can ignore that. The radiation falling on Heaven will heat it to the point where the heat lost by radiation is just equal to the heat received by radiation, i.e., Heaven loses 50 times as much heat as the Earth by radiation. Using the Stefan-Boltzmann law for radiation, (H/E)^4 = 50, where E is the absolute temperature of the earth (-300ºK), gives H as 798ºK (525ºC).
The exact temperature of Hell cannot be computed. However, Revelation 21:8 says "But the fearful, and unbelieving ... shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone." A lake of molten brimstone [sulphur] means that its temperature must be at or below its boiling point, 444.6ºC.
We have, then, that Heaven, at 525ºC is hotter than Hell at 445ºC.

So why did god create hell in the first place? Why did god create good and evil? It seems to me that God has the total reign as to where we end up. If he is indeed as loving as we're led to believe he should allow all souls into heaven. By your statements above, it is us that turns our backs on him, but even if we turn our backs on him he is supposed to love us enough to forgive us and accept us into heaven. So any soul that has been banished to a fiery torment for eternity has ultimately been banished by god since he created hell and allowed us to be sent to hell. I'm not even going to touch all of the evil atrocities god committed in the old testament. That actually is in tune with the god that condemns people to eternal pain and suffering.

Did anything that you read have some sort of scripture reference to it? Be careful of what gospel you preach. Jesus warned about preaching and learning a gospel other than His own. He is the only way. You don't go to Hell because you are hated by God. People go to Hell because they have transgressed the Law of God. As with any law, there is punishment for breaking that law. God's love was shown as He was willing to humble Himself, come down here as a man, and take that punishment. So, God IS love. Not because He offers you a chance as your feet touch the fire, but because He offered you a chance WELL before that. He has offered it NOW. If you wait until you are on your way to the Judge, it will be too late.

During the time I was a devout Christian convert, in my teens, I came to the same creative conclusion as you have done, in a desperate attempt to reconcile the idea of an infinitely loving "God" with condemnation to hell. I finally realized how wrong it is to follow Christianity's perverted idea of what "God" is.
Is it not the case that according to Christian belief "God" has the power to send all the "sinners" to a place where they are given "seventy times seventy" (ENDLESS) opportunities to "know 'God'"? Is it not the case that according to Christianity "God" makes all the rules and can change them, i.e. it *IS* in fact the Christian "God" who sends people to hell by omission if not commission?
Edit: Thumbs-downers seem to believe their "God" is impotent and powerless. That's sad.
Christianity is very deceptive. You should stop depicting "God" as either a helpless hand-wringing whiner or a vindictive, incomprehensibly cruel dictator.

Wow, religion questions are toughies, its not always an easy answer (at least not for me) especially ones of this kind. "They" (whoever they may be) have always said, "well know everything in the afterlife, or when we passed.") But truly how many TRUE accounts of folks coming back and giving us "this" information do you know or have heard of. Usually as it goes............once we're gone, we're gone and where we go to is "anyone's guess" really - there is no hardcore documentation that states where the final flight lands.

Read more your Bible. Since the fall of man 6,000 years ago, mans was destained already to hell, for man must really pay the penalty of his sin. But God so loved man (John 3:16) that He sacrifced His only begotten Son in order to save His masterpiece of creation that is man. Its all by His grace.

Sounds right to me, but I also don't believe that hell is hot. It's probably something like the general theory of relativity (which has no electromagnetism in it).
John 3:19
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

The scriptures say this: That he who does not exercise faith in Christ has been judged already for his lack of faith. (John 3:17-18)
Ezekiel 18:23 Is it my will that a sinner should die, saith the Lord God, and not that he should be converted from his ways, and live? (DRC)
Thus God tells sinners repeatedly, through the preaching of the good news, that they should all repent and produce works befitting repentance.
The appointed Judge, Christ will be doing the judging.
Also, the scriptures do show that God does discipline -- this is part of the suffering for Christ that Christians must endure -- that makes them worthy of the kingdom.

I was raised Catholic and this agrees with what I was taught, specifically, that the only real sin is despair because that's the only thing that can completely, finally cut you off from god. But giving yourself over to despair has to be a conscious choice -- the sin, as always, is in the choice.
It's still nonsense.
