Hell, like heaven, is not only a state of existence, but a literal, and very real, place. It is a place where the unrighteous will experience never-ending, eternal wrath from God. They will endure emotional, mental, and physical torment, consciously suffering from shame, regret, and contempt.

Hell is described as a bottomless pit (Luke 8:31, Revelation 9:1), and a lake of fire, burning with sulfur, where the inhabitants will be tormented day and night forever and ever (Revelation 20:10). In hell, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, indicating intense grief and anger (Matthew 13:42). It is a place “where the worm never dies and the fire never goes out” (Mark 9:48).

If you get migraines, from what I have heard, that IS Hell. It certainly isn't a place where there is fire and a devil running around. How ridiculous is that? I think it is each person's worst "dream" like you said. It could be different for everyone and it's not somewhere else--it's right here on Earth.

I visited Hell during a Near-Death Experience (NDE). Before the NDE, I was agnostic; afterwards, I was a Christian.

It was a dark place populated with demons who were torturing me to try to get me to give up my struggle against them, kiss the a$$ of Satan, and be damned for all time. I didn't see any other people there; just demons. Seeing no other way out, I tried praying to God for the first time, asking simply for deliverance from that awful place. My prayer was answered, and I'm still here, 19 years later.

Hell just like Heaven ONLY exists if you believe that they exist...There are many myths about Hell, but who truly knows what Hell is like or for that matter what Heaven is like.......When you say Hell most people think about the little red devil with a pitch fork....Lots of fire and heat......If you ask me everyones Hell is different because no two people think the same and to them Hell might mean many different things....So I guess it kinda is just what you believe and not what other portray or try to put into your head......

I have had enough migraines to consider that a good answer.

I think hell could be a lot like earth, without the hope.

I don't think hell exists. I think that when a person is sent to hell, they drop out of existence.
