Bottles of water/liquid.
Cans of food/vegetables.
Any 2 items of the same size/weight. Dumbells are pretty inexpensive though, you can get a set at Wal-Mart or other discount store cheaply. I have a 3# set and a 5# set I use when I workout to my DVDs or fitness TV shows that incorporate them.

No you should use weights in case you wanna get larger..or you should get a job that calls for you to carry heavy issues yet you cant sit down there and do curls with a gallon of milk lol. merely get hassle-free 15 or 20 pound dumbbells it should be kinda extreme priced yet its properly well worth the make investments bc they very last lengthy and u can do one of those tremendous form of workouts to get in structure.

Save empty milk jugs and start by filling them with water. Progress by filling halfway with gravel and working your way up. If you have young children lift them. Make it a game.
