The alcohol is dehydrating your body, your circulation is not functioning correctly because of the dehydration, therefore the pain in the arms. The best solution for this is to drink purified water mixed with mineral water 50/50. The mineral water is going to replace what has been wiped out by the alcohol. drink as much of this as you can throughout the day.
It's apparent that your body does not take well to alcohol. Try to consume less next time.

After "girl's night out" it seems we all complain about the same thing - our legs are sore. Go figure!! Never arms.
One of them swears by drinking a full glass of water and taking a Tylenol before she falls into bed for the night.
I usually forget. But there must be something to it, because she is all peppy the next day and ready to go!!! The rest of us are still sleeping in, until only hunger can get us out of bed.
Watch for the additives in wine. Reds can be harsh. Mixed sweet drinks can kill even the strongest. I can't remember which is which but I have been told that there is a big difference between vodka and gin (one is "cleaner" than the other) tequila only fits in some stomachs. Find an "old timer" Bartender at a good restaurant/bar -they can be a good source of info if they have been around a while.
And of course don't over do it. Maybe drink some water in between drinks. That works too (just defeats MY purpose of going out for drinks, but I stop early)
Good luck. Be safe, and never leave your drink alone! : )

I would defianatley go back to the hospital (take someone with), and let them know that something has changed. Also let them know if you have any family history of heart or circulatory related problems. If not a heart attack, it could defianatley be an indication of a blockage somewhere. Either way it isn't normal. Also let your primary know, and if you have to get a referel to a specialist. Edit: Chuckie is right, but it wouldn't hurt in case. We have left the hospital after a few hours because they said that the ekg didn't indicate no activity, but 20 minutes later (we live 10 minutes from the hospital for good cause) we are calling an ambulance and they are shocking him back to life on the way back to the er. If it starts going numb, nasuea, and chilly sweats, CALL 911.

Well, even if you're a medical student, you still can't avoiding alcohol.
Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant and it is the central nervous system which is the bodily system that is most severely affected by alcohol . The degree to which the central nervous system function is impaired is directly proportional to the concentration of alcohol in the blood.
So that's why you feel pain in your arm.
Maybe your arm fatigue...
Fatigue causes many of the same symptoms that are caused by alcohol intoxication. These and other symptoms will be amplified if alcohol intoxication is concurrent with fatigue.

Well my mother NEVER drinks. She has tiny sips on New Years and sometimes Christmas but she was never a regular nor social drinker. Every time she drinks she has heat flashes and body aches because her body just isn't used to it. After being free from it for so long and then consuming it may hurt your body because your body isn't adjusted to it. I suggest that you drink less or not at all because it could cause something serious if you continue to hurt yourself!

i hear ya buddy
i get pain in my thighs from drinking alcohol and all the next day it aches.
it's from your body ridding itself from the toxins.
kinda like a hangover for your muscles.
all you can do is treat it like a hangover. fresh foods (chicken salad sandwiches work for me) and sugar drinks (red slushies are good) and a shite load of water.
perhaps a massage if you can handle it will help rid your arms of the toxins.
water really is the best way to detox yourself after drinking.
personally, i think it's worth the pain :)
