No they sholdn't be allowed in schools - the previous generations did just fine without them.

Kids shouldn't even have cell phones so no not even in school. They use it to cheat and disrupt class. Until they have a job don't let them have a cell phone.

the problem is that both students and parents disregard the proper use of cell phones during school hours.

I insist that my daughters have them. They have to travel on public transport and their schoolis out of town.
They're not allowed them on in class and if they do, they get confiscated. I have no problems with that.

absolutely not kids are doing poorly enough without that interference.People have gone cell phone and text mess crazy.
