actually, i do not feel very safe. just look at arport security. they dont check the bags that go into the cargo bay of a plane. and what difference does it make where the bomb is, as long as it's big enough to blow a hole in the plane? terrorists have resources, and even with guards it would just take a concetrated effort to attack a nuclear plant. the realscare, though, is nuclear waste. I mean, how hard is it nowadays to build a bomb, sneak near a nuclear facility, and chuck the bomb? and if you're a suicide bomber, then you can be even less subtle. obviously, so far, most of the defensive security measures that airports and ports and nuclear plants are taking are little more than PR smokescreens to keep America running. after all, half of the terrorists' goals are to cripple the US, and the best way to do that is our economy. scare the people, and businesses, schools, everything shuts down because people wont go to work. and once they finally do, bam! the terroristsd will do sometihn g to scare us all back to our families. lovely picture.

But yeah I guess we all can have a little scared in our life... Me I am an adrenalin junkie so no biggie for me just a reason to panic...

A few well prepared guys with some small incendiary bombs or rockets could really #### up our oil refineries and that would be an economic blow that would do us immense harm.
Instead of high priced gas, think 'no gas', and you will see what I am thinking. Can anyone comment intelligently on how well these vital facilities are guarded?

I cannot worry about these or other attacks. To do so would be giving in to the terrorist plan in the first place. I would hope that we keep our guard up until we can defeat these radicals. My biggest fear right now is that some of the Presidential candidates are downplaying terrorists and the threat that exist. Their goal is to do away with some of the protections that are put in place to keep our country safe.

Very exciting training. i experience u . s . a . remains a good "wannabe" purpose for the Muslim extremists yet some thing should be operating - per chance our more effective safe practices below the Patriot Act? even as parts of u . s . a . with extreme profile objectives will be in probability for preliminary terrorist plans, because of the propaganda fee, the motive is to carry the completed u . s . to its knees, so no State or community is amazingly chance-free in the lengthy time period. I shudder to imagine what is going to ensue if Obama is elected and we are all inspired to hitch fingers and sing "love, sweet love" to thwart our sworn enemies.

I am much more concerned about a stolen / smuggled Soviet bloc nuke being detonated in an American city. Lot's more damage and casualties there, and more likely to happen.

It's scary. The terrorists are so devious. Since 9/11 I think everyone is edgy.

Security can be cicurmvented anywhere, but I like our chances....you have to be pretty determined to hit something if you know it's heavily secured....
