No, you cannot reject a handshake just because you have sweaty palms.
Just wipe your palm with tissue or on the sides of your pants first.
It is indeed very rude to reject a handshake even more so since you are in a corporate job.

Yes, or have a Tissue in your hands and say: Sorry My Hands aint clean, I've just been cleaning my PC\ Fixing My car\ opening the dusty window\etc.... and bow ur head.
Cure for Sweaty Palms:
The operation known as Thoracic Sympathectomy has developed over the last 50 to 60 years to what it is today. In the past, the operation was done either through the lower neck, back, or chest cavity. These approaches involved major surgical intervention that necessitated long hospital stays in addition to causing pain and excessive scarring. These are reasons why the operation was not commonly chosen. Over the last 20 years, advancements were made and many operations were performed with the help of miniature cameras (Endoscopic Surgery). In these surgeries, entrance into the body cavities, such as the abdomen or chest, is done through miniature incisions that result in minimal surgical damage and speedy recovery. Operations today are done on an outpatient basis (the patient returns home the same day) achieving the same results as the open operation in the past but without the long hospital stays, severe pain, and excessive scarring.

Well if you tell the person you have sweaty palms, they would probably choose not to shake! Why are your palms sweaty? Nervous? Lack of Confidence? Wrong attire? Or possibly health related? Call the Doc for a Check up

no, you can't...shaking hands with others is mannerism no matter who you are or what you do to earn for a living...you can simply say "oops, I'm sorry I have sweaty palms" after shaking hands with the other party...alternatively, have a handkerchief with you all the time...when someone extend a handshake to you, quickly wipe off your sweat and return the other party's handshake...

there is a way to cure that but i don't know what it is. check with your doc. while it isn't appropriate to "reject" a handshake, it is okay to tell people "please excuse me if i don't shake hands. i ... "and add your reason. people you see all the time will understand but, for those that you are unfamiliar with, just say you may be coming down with something or tell them the truth. it may be embarassing but, it would be worse to shake their hand and have them have to wipe it off.

It would be very rude. Try using anti-persperant on your palms, or wipe them quickly before shaking hands. Not shaking hands for any reason would give the wrong impression.

In your job handshakes mean alot.
Keep a handkerchief in your pocket.
When you know you will be meeting
people and shaking hands you can
hold it in one hand, then pass it to your
other hand.
This should help.
