ABORTION: For or against?

Question

I am asking this in the religious section because some people would have moral & religious views about this.
Brief answers would be welcome which essentially contain your stance on the subject followed by your reason.

Abortion is against the law of man and the law of God because it is the killing of a fetus inside the womb of a conceiving woman.

I'm generally against abortion, but there are genuine reasons why it should be permitted, for example, if the child is going to be brought up in a staunchly religious setting, as in Christianity or similar, then it is probably better that the child be aborted prior...who needs more religious fundamentalists in this world...all they're EVER done is hold us all back.

ABORTION: I am for it.

BECAUSE:-

A woman should have control over her own body and reproductive processes. The decision to abort a pregnancy (or not) should be the woman's alone.

Poor women will resort to unsafe "kitchen table" abortions when denied legal, sanitary procedures. This can end in mutilation, infection, sterility and all to often - a painful death.

Wealthy women are able to have safe abortions no matter whether the procedure is legal or not.

I don't consider a fetus to be a "human being" - it merely has the potential of becoming a human being. Not unlike ova or sperm.

I'm against abortion.You can have an abortion at your 3rd trimester.
4 weeks after fertilization the eyes, nose , ears and respiratory systems begin to form. Thumb sucking has been photographed within the first trimester.
And partial birth abortion is inhumane and morally wrong. I personally believe it is the same as murder

if i got rape i would go with the abortion.if i willing at the time the i should have to live the fact that i messed up and i should of used a cover up meaning a rubber or never even had sex should of waited or birth control.also if the mother and child is danger then i would have abortion if is just the mother then i would have the child remove depending on how long she is.

I am against it for the most part. I think that in certain circumstances in which the mother's life is endangered then there is a reason for it. If a person is using it for a source of birth control then I am definitely against it.

I'm not religious in any way, shape or form. I'm an atheist and I fully support a woman's right to choose an abortion at any stage.

I fully support the right of the already born to live...but no where in our US Constitution is the unborn mentioned. So, they're pretty much at the whim of the person carrying them.

To put it another way....FORCED GESTATION is ALWAYS WRONG.

Against.
The baby is a seperate being from it's mother.It is developing from the moment it is conceived-for example,three weeks after conception,the heart is formed and starts beating,and the ears and arms start to form.By five weeks,the lungs are forming,and the baby has developed hands and feet with toes and fingers.
By eight weeks,the baby has the beginning of feet,eyelids,and it can also make a fist.
It's wrong to kill an innocent human being.

Everyone is against abortion. Some are in favour of the RIGHT for women to choose abortion as a last resort. I am among these.

I am against it. Because it's a killing of a child inside the mom's womb. And abortion is not a good way to control population. The child inside the mom's womb is alive and is really life and it's been living the moment it became a cell. So aborting it means killing the life already.
