Well, I don't know about God acting like he doesn't exist. But I'll agree that there haven't been any fire raining from the sky/pillar of salt type things in a long time. But I think humanity has come a long way since the days of the Old Testament. Back then, people needed someone to hold their hand, so to speak. I think God wants us to learn how to stand on our own two feet. If we look at humanity as God's child, it's time that we grew up.

God lets us get on with our own lives imagine if he interfeared everyones prayers would get answerd the world would not be a nice place there is only one god no religion is right that is just what people beleave god is all about. Differnt religions = different ways of dealing with the biggest question ever.

It is disturbing to many people that God seems so distant to them. As a person that speaks to God and has God speak back I have to say it took a lot of dedication to his Son Jesus and a lot of obediance to what Jesus has told me to do to develop this sort of relationship.
I guess that God wants to know you are serious. It says in the Bible that nature itself testifies that there is a God. God has been good to me and answered some of my questions.
I wish I could have Him speak to you and solve all your problems. My own brother has your dilema and has never heard a squeek out of God or Jesus.
I will pray for you.

Why does it bother you how God treats us and how we regard God - you obviously do not seem to give a hoot about God anyway.
The other thing is that you under rate yourself by your avatar nickname. Donkeys cannot use your intelligence - even at the level when you ask confusing questions? The fog will clear one day and you see things differently.

He's an absentee landlord who still hasn't fully recovered from what they did to His son 2000 years ago.
If He exists, he's certainly repelled by humanity, Christian and non-Christian alike. Imagine how he must feel everytime Pat Robertson, or some similar monster, burps out his latest communication "with God."

TEACHER: Tommy do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.
TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.
TEACHER: Did you see God?
TOMMY: No.
TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. He doesn't exist.
A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions. The teacher agreed and the little girl questioned the boy.
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yessssss (getting tired of the questions this time).
LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?
TOMMY: Yessssss.
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher?
TOMMY: Yes
LITTLE GIRL: Do you see the teacher's mind?
TOMMY: No.
LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school, she must not have one!

Evidence of God can be found, for one thing, in the complexity and diversity of nature, including our own bodies. Do you believe that this world, in all its splendor, happened by chance? It requires a lot of faith to believe that!

i feel he is here with me when i think of HIM. we have to meditate and think on HIm before HE will show up.
He is kind and sweet, His presence is addictive...
if u want to feel God all u have to do is call HIM when u r sad and alone...believe me He will show up...
HE's there....i trusted too many humans and all i had was disappointment after dissappointment...only God has been faithful eventhough i havent...He waited 4 me and now i wanna belong to HIm again...
