Christians- How many of you are find this world impossible to live in?

With more people than ever rude, murdering people, becoming drunk more often, do you find it hard not to bite back? Jesus said to turn the other check, as that is impossible to do most of the time. I will give you an example, my mother who was shopping a couple of months ago who has bad diebetes, and heart problems, said to this girl "excuse me" poletley, as she want to sit down as she gets light heaed a lot because of her illness, and this girl started abusing my mother, and would not stop, and she was drinking alcohol, and she ended up smashing the galsses of my mothers face. I am glad I was not there as I would probably have taken her head of her shoulders. How do you handle situations like this? I asked my mother why she did not do anything, and she said that she handed it all over to God. Maybe that is what I should do. My 6 year old son was around when she told me and I tole her that I am sick of this world, and my son Daniel said that nothing can seperate us from the love of

God. How true that is.Another incident today is my mother and my son and I were on our way to Hungry Jacks and a car behind her kept tooting at her with her horn, I ended up sticking my finger up at her, she drove past calling my mother a f'ing *****, and I used abuse at her, this gut go out the car and started walking over to my mothers car, and I thought bring it on, and he walked away back to his car. My mother said people have been killed for less. This is one sick world, I told my mother this is hell on earth, so do you christians agree?

Like I did when I had a small lump in my right breast , which in the end only ended up being a cyst. I had to rule it out as my Auntie had breast cancer, and cancer does not discriminate, not does death.; And yes I do know where I am going, do you? Yes if I die, I will be in teh arms of my loving Father, and also I have 3 kids up there. 2 abortions, and one miscarage. Besides no matter if I want to die and go home, if God does not want m e home yet, then he has a purpose. I will not die if God does not allow it. God said to Satan about Job you can go this far, but you are not to kill the man. I have to try and learn to be patient about getting out of hell on earth, and try and learn that God will take me when he is ready not one minute before or one second before. Hi Leanne, you are right this world is becoming increasingly difficult to live in and you know as well as I that it is all down to Godlessness and sin.
We are all under enormous stress and those who do not have God in their lives are the first to fall victim to this and because they do not know any different they just try to take it out on those around them.
Christians need to be very aware of the pitiful inner turmoil of un-believers and be prepared to handle them, we must not repay like for like as this would mean that we are actually no better even for our belief.
Having said that we cannot always do the right thing everytime and must try to overcome injustice with forgiveness and compassion.
We are not door mats either, if someone attacks our family then it is proper to defend them and not feel guilty,this is not the same as turning the other cheek, we may freely choose to do this if it is just ourselves involved but not when someone else is being attacked.
The best recourse in situations like the one`s you mentioned is to call the police and let them deal with the person.

Christians or someone of any religion shouldn't take that kind of ****, but it doesn't mean smashing her head in, it means calling the cops. If this cruel drunk girl runs away I would catch up to her and start yelling at her in her face until she attacks me and I would then smash her face in, in "self defense." If your mother was ill, there was really nothing she could've done about the situation, Christianly or not. Ideally a bystander would have helped her, but life isn't fair.

we are all humans. the bible says " for we have all sin we have fallen short of the glory of god" it also says "in this world you will have trials and tribulations, BUT trust in ME..". we are not perfect, I'm sure your mother would have wanted to slap her. but if she would have done that then she would have been just as bad as her. don't give up on life. take the good and learn from the bad.

This world we live in is full of the most abhorrent things.....People who abuse others and enjoy it, people who love themselves above all else....people who lie...people who hate....people who have no social skills.....people who use religion as a cover for their shortfalls....people who abandon their children, and allow them to be raised by others....people who abuse taxi drivers...people who send horrid emails to others...SOUND FAMILIAR???
