you cannot convert .rar file extentions to mp3, .rar file extentions used for compress data, you have to open it first, you have to download rar editors like , winrar , http://www.winrar.com , when you download and install it , click rar file with right mouse button and select extract .

download a rar to mp3 but i ddont think a music file can be a rar file look for one on google just type "rar to mp3 converter"

Lol, cant open rar files? Rar is a compression type. Try going to rarlabs.com and download winrar then extract the file first then convert it.

First : Download this program, (WinRAR)

and install it .
2nd open the file rar (the file you want to convert to mp3) Open it with the program you just installed - (WinRAR) ... then you will find what that file includes! .. if it include mp3 then you got it! if not .. !
thats all mean : You do NOT convert RAR to MP3, but you see what the RAR file includes!
RAR : zipped file .
MP3 : Music file .

.Rar is a zip format that "shrinks" compresses the file down. a mp3 is a music file, so converting is out of the question, unless you mean "How to unzip it?" in that case look in Yahoo's search engine for a program called Winrar, that will help you my friend :) take care

On my computer all i do is after the .rar is downloaded, i just edit it on my finder erase the .rar and put in .mp3, hit enter it will ask if i want the change, hit yes and it's done.
I don't know if there's any programs for other OS's that don't work that way. If you dn't find any, you can send me the file and ill change it for you .

rar is a compression file... you need rar software do open those files... the mp3 is likely to be inside.
