I Have a jvc CRT tv hdready without hdmi

All "HD Ready" TVs will handle HD signals...The only thing they're missing is an HD tuner for over-the-air broadcasts...Otherwise, they're the same as any other HDTV.

Component supports up to 1080i. It's 1080p that requires an HDMI connection.

You should be OK.

Yes, as long as your TV supports it (HD ready TVs are able to receive 1080i or 720p via component)
