YES YES YES. I have one here in Afghanistan. It's a twim three inches thick and hangs over the edge of my cot but I love it. I'm buying one when I get home next month. If the mattress is as good or better than the topper I'll be in heaven.

Get the pillow too.

The toppers you find at Wal-Mart and discount stores are only as good as the mattress underneath. Please do not waste your money on those. I bought one for my queen size bed, as my husband needs a very firm mattress, but the mattress hurts my hips and back. The topper I have is less than 2 inches thick, and although it offers little relief, I wouldn't make the purchase if given a second chance. If you can afford it, get the tempurpedic mattress.

I have one of those pillows and it was the most uncomfortable night I'd ever had, thought I'd broken my neck the next morning....mattress topper might be better, but I'll leave it up to you to find out.

The only time I've used one is on a sleeper sofa and even just 1 inch of foam made a BIG difference in the comfort level.

Well I bought 1, then a second because my bed size up graded, then I just bought a feather bed! The thicker the better on this one. I went skimp and I got what I paid for.
Still a hard bed! That made my body ache when I got up.

Very very comfy and cosy
The downside is that as it is so comfy I go straight off to sleep and don't move round much through the night - I tend to wake up hurting
