I would think that the term "God's Love" is used to avoid being unduly familiar with you. Love, by itself, is construed in many different ways by some people, especially in a sexual way.
I think that the love they are trying to convey is "agape" which is an unconditional, non-sexual, non-familial type of love. The kind of love God has for us.
God bless you.

I never heard that farewell either but I think it is arrogant and presumptuous to say anything with "god" in it to anyone who might not believe. I don't think it's ok to say "god bless you", "god speed", etc.
I agree that it probably has nothing to do with the person being spoken to. It sounds insincere and impersonal. It's kind of like when someone says "he will be missed" about someone who just died or just got fired. i.e. "he won't be missed by ME but someone else will miss him"

I'm not sure because you might be saying God's speed, which is to take care, like how God takes care of people, but God's love?, I haven't heard of it but it might mean that they love you so much just like how God loves you.. just a wild guess he he.....

i think that love doesn't exist..that is why this word ''love'' sounds ridiculous to me...except the love for children...i tell''little love'' to my daughter..and ''love''..but i never could tell so to my husband because i never loved him..and that is was because he also didn't love me...i see..that he sleept with me..when he lusted for my body...and i saw the way he looked at my legs...and i know..he doesn't like my soul...so where is love...because love means loving the soul of somebody...sorry to tell you that...and also the big percent of oral sex..it shows ..people don't love..they are just dying in sex..not in love...
