I would like to get a tattoo while I'm here in Korea and somewhere in the vicinity of Seoul. Know of any reliable and clean tattoo artists or shops? I need more than "there's one in Hongdae" if I'm going to find it.

Interestingly, tattooing is illegal in Korea unless you are a doctor so you need to consider there are no regulations for sanitation and sterilization in the underground.

You should get it somewhere that does not show when you are dressed for business, especially not on your face or neck. However in Seoul a tattoo artist will probably put one anywhere you want it.

Due to good ethics, they`re not allowing such tacky **** to be practised in that country.
