Is it the angry spirits of the plains indians and other tribes getting revenge on the decendance of the invaders (U.S. Army and other settlers who did their best to completely exterminate and commit total genicide on the original native Americans.?)
After all genicide is how this country was taken over and so called settled. It was the American way.
So you tell me is that why we have so many Tornado's?

Well, then who were the spirits angry at when the Tornadoes struck the plains Indians?
It's a weather pattern thing... tornadoes form over dry land most often and during warmer weather (April, May, June is considered tornado season).
If it were angry spirits avenging the plains Indians, then how would you explain the perfect weather in San Antonio, TX? How are the Jumano Indians being avenged?
****EDIT*****They also have occurred in Japan. My friend from Japan said they call them "tatsumaki" there, meaning "spinning dragon." Cool name, eh? Anyway, here is a tornado link and where they occur in the world.

If angry spirits were powerful enough to send tornadoes on descendants of the "invaders," then don't you think they would have stopped the "invasion" in the first place?

The earliest recorded ecu tornado replaced into in 1054 in eire. there is yet another hyperlink approximately supercell thunderstorms.

Actually, Dave, Native American legends are rife with mentions of tornadoes. For example, viewing a multiple vortex tornado, even from a safe distance, was a sure sign that the viewer was going to die in the coming year.

The geography and where it sits on the planet just makes it a prime target. As far as I know, more hilly areas are harder for tornadoes to form in and thrive, but the flat lands out west are just right for them...
