I have 2. One is a male who is a little over a year old and the other if a female who is about 6 months. I've kept them kenled at night and put them out as soon as they get up in the morning. I also have a litter box for them but they won't even try it.

oooh ben there and got the t-shirt! very very tiring and annoying lol.
put the paper on the floor by the back door, move their food totally away frm the paper as dogs will eat their own poo, sniff each others bottoms and lick there private parts but wont eat dog food anywhere near they eat lol!
you could try some house training spray. all majour pet stores sell it and you spray a bit on the paper where you want them to wee/poo and make them sniff it.
it does work.
also rub their noses in whatever mess they make, give them a firm tap on the nose, put them on there paper that they are ment to be using also so they know where to go.
boys are worse than girls to train as they **** thier legs up.
thankfully ive got past this problem with my 2 year old staffy.
good luck with it and try and stay strong xx

One thing I've noticed with my dogs (my lab and my Chi) is that they pretty consistenty have got to potty every 2-3 hours when they're just putting across the apartment enjoying, etc. We keep the back door open (they've a doggie door into the storage/again door) and so they exit as they must. Nevertheless, when first potty-training him, we would take him into the bathroom and put him on a potty pad (or take him external) and inform him to "Be easy" (a guide called some thing like a hundred and one questions a canine would ask you instructed us to associate a phrase with going potty). Now when we take them out first thing in the morning (or in the middle of the night time) we inform them to Be smooth and so they go do their trade. My little Chi (Jack) still has accidents, peculiarly when he fairly wants to go and you dilly-dally on your option to letting him outside, however it's simply going to happen.

I guess start all over. Take them out as soon as they wake up, after they eat, after they play and after they sleep.
"Puppy go pee," "puppy go potty" outside, and when they do their business, "Good girl/boy"

When we potty-trained my puppy, we'd put papers where he peed, and also one by the door. Everytime he steered towards one, we'd take him out.

One night I took him out to pee, I was about to take him back upstairs, when he turned around in the stairs, pulled me back out and went number two. I was so proud I just about burst.... (I know, sad, but still :)

I'm personally not a fan of litter boxes for dogs, because they need and deserve to go outside and sniff around and stretch their legs and be dogs, and I honestly get the impression that litter boxes gives owners an excuse to not walk their dogs.
I could be wrong, I suppose, but that's my impression. Either way, good luck!

I heard if you cover the floor where they go to the bathroom at in the home with here dog food they wont go to the bathroom there anymore. You Know the Saying " Don't s**t where you eat at" (something like that). Try it and see if it works, Good Luck

well one thing the liter hurts their feet and they wont go in it . dont force them too either . i am a real big fan of pee pads because they work and yes when we take them for their walks they go outside . kenneling them at night is good just make sure their kennels are not too big for them or you are encouraging them to deficate and urinate in their kennel . so yes start all over again start taking them out at certain times of the day like they are puppies all over again .
