if i'm wrong in asking science questions to atheists, why do atheists bring up scientific data to diprove God?

it certainly is a blind faith. It is funny that they don't realize it... same goes to all who have a blind faith.

for some reason i feel like you're kind of a loser. I'm sure you're not, but it comes off that way. But congrats, you figured it out. Not every atheist has a PhD in biochemistry or astrophysics.
You're just arguing that evolution doesn't explain everything, and then concluding it's a blind faith like the big religions. But there is big difference between acknowledging abiogenesis or the Big Bang as confusing and accepting Jesus as your personal savior. Everyone should be an agnostic, then we'd have far fewer problems, which i assume is the cause of the pettiness on both sides. they both blame each other for society's problems, and nothing gets solved.
and atheism is not a blind faith. At the end of the day, maybe a faith. But certanly not blind. Not to mention atheists don't do anything in the name of their "faith". They must take personal responsiblity. Stalin was a dick cuz he was a dick (and a dogmatic Marxist), not because he was an atheist.

Questions about your beliefs in your creator are certainly well-placed in the Religion & Spirituality section. Questions about something as complex and advanced-science as abiogenesis, when placed in that section, aren't about religion, they're an attempt to make a misplaced point about the knowledge atheists possess. Yes, you are the only one who sees irony in the answers, because you're the only one looking for it. An atheist's claim to reasoning skills and logical skills have nothing to do with their ability to parse a question that is densely worded on a topic that most people have never heard of. As your previous answerers have said, abiogenesis and evolution are not necessarily the same thing, nor do all atheists receivee training in such topics.
I would agree with you that atheism is also blind faith, but I don't think anyone's arguing that point, and the ability or inability of someone to answer your question has nothing to do with it. There is a lot of evidence pointing to the validity of evolution, but evolution and atheism aren't the same thing, either.
For questions about abiogenesis you need to be posting in a science section, and if your point is to make people who espouse a different religious theory than you look uneducated and stupid...well done, you. No wonder you find the answers you're looking for.
Edit: The difference is the relevance to the topic, and if you're intelligent enough to pose your question in the first place, you're intelligent enough to figure that out. There's nothing wrong with using science to argue, but using science that you KNOW your opponents will know nothing about has no validity. Besides, by your own admission you're discussing a scientific topic, ergo Science category, not Religion & Spirituality.

Your questions were weaseled, filled with inaccuracies, and so disorganized as to ask all sorts of random things that do not lead to a coherent answer. Your purpose was to create a veil of confusion. It is the only reason to ask such questions at the period of lowest activity on the board. Such reliance on deception is the basis for the growth of atheism. As atheism is in no way dependent upon a person being able to explain every last detail of a rather esoteric theory, you have blatantly shown that religion's only counter to atheism is deception.

I think it's a faith in some sense. But not totally blind. Atheists have their reasons, just as I (a Christian) have mine.

Atheism isn't a blind faith. If you give me proof of a god then I would have to accept it.
But in the absence of proof (hell, in the absence of evidence for that matter), I don't accept the existance of gods, ghosts or gremlins.

Here is the difference:

Yes, but that won't stop anyone from posting questions in this category, and it won't stop me from answering if I feel I can. This question would be clearer to me if I knew whether you were an atheist or not.
