No memory card or stick will ever 'fit' into a Hard Drive. The card itself needs to be plugged into the USB port of your PC. This is done using a card reader (you need to buy one that is suitable for the type of memory card that you have). Or you can connect your camera to the USB port using a mini USB cable, which should have come with the camera.
I suggest you actually read your camera's user manual, which will explain exactly how this is done.
