I'm 15 and 210 pounds! Is that normal? I want to get down to at least 160-180 by the end of Summer. Is there any way that is possible? I already know excercise and eat right but can you tell me specifics? Any SERIOUS answers are appriciated. Thank you!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Good for you, first read this then push yourself away from the computer and get up / get active!
You should have a mind set that you will accomplish your goal, and stick to a exercises program.
Your school or the Y can get this for you.
You are over weight now because you don't eat the proper food, those junk foods taste great but look what they've done!
Put a healthy high protein, low carb diet together with positive thinking and physical activities then you'll feel better about yourself and look fabulous.
Its not easy dear, good luck

I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurites come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. To learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. Cleansing was good for me. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://losebigweight.com

thats great your trying to lose weight! good for you. keep your confidence up!! Exercise EVERYday after school or in the morning, and take a day of rest sometime in the week. make sure to do sit ups for your tummy and run around the track 2 or 3 times if you cant do that then work your way up to it. Eat lots of veggies and fruit but not bananas they are high in fat (its good fat , but its still fat,) dont eat meat alot.Even at night while your watching a movie tell yourself that you HAVE to do 50 crunches or 30 pushups before the movie. You'll lose weight in no time. Also try to convince your friends to work out with you, they are great motivation!!!!! Good Luck

well sweetie...
I'm 16 and I weight 160 in Dec. and by April I weight 136.
so what I did was cut out all drinks [except water]
counted calories [and kind of went on a faux- weight watchers]
and jogged for at least an hour 5 days a week.
and when I was full, I stopped eating.
just simple and slight changes will help...
=]
good luck.

Start slow.. your only 15, you don't need any dramatic changes in your life.. I would say the best thing to do is pick something your going to cut out of your diet each week, like this week start off by drinking no soda.. next week no extra candy or fatty junk food.. and if you keep cutting things out and gradually working in exercise you will feel alot healthier and not as suddenly deprived as you would with a strict planned out diet.. Just make sure your happy :]

A low carb diet, lots of water, and exercise. I lost 52 lbs in a little over 2 months on the Atkins diet. That doesn't mean eat bacon and cheese everyday! I ate mostly grilled chicken, salad, veggies, etc. Go to www.atkins.com to learn how to do the diet the right way. I promise it works....I've recently lost 20 lbs of my baby weight doing it, again. Good luck.
