Hey, you're still growing.. Do not deprive yourself from nutrition. Now is not the time to be worrying too much about weight issues (unless of course if you are obese which you are far from it).

You are still young. Enjoy life as it should be. As you grow older, you will learn to control and I'm sure your body will find its most suitable form :)

Trust me.. I'm about your height and 57 kilos is actually just about right. Actually a little heavier would be no harm... To me, from the sound of it, you are doing really fine. Keep up the good work. Just maintain how you are..

Take care of your body, live an active lifestyle. That's what matters now.

You aren't too fat. You may not realize this, but if you starve yourself you will stunt your growth and at 13 you have a lot more growing to do. Make sure that you're eating right - quality protein and not too much refined starch, eat fruits and vegetables or take a multivitamin. It takes a combination of exercise and nutrition and sleep to grow - think about trying to grow large plants - they need all the right conditions and one plant will be obviously less healthy than another based on how well you take care of it. The reason why you don't have huge muscles is that you're just starting to have your hormones change - some guys mature earlier, but those who mature later often become bigger so don't worry about it. I can tell that you're still early in your development because your hips are larger than your chest - but that's good news. You have a lot to look forward to. Don't sabotage it by trying to starve your body just when it needs more fuel for growth. By the way, if you're counting calories, you should probably be getting 4000 quality calories a day if you're really working out the way you describe - swimming and wrestling. If you think your workouts are a breeze, try being more aggressive and challenge your body to do it quicker and with better control. At your age you should be gaining weight not losing it. Muscle and bone are heavier than fat. You will notice that your "baby fat" will naturally decrease as you mature and as you grow your muscles and bone will increase so you will get heavier but that's a good thing.

Hey that's not too bad, I was that when I was your age. I hated it then and started doing as much activities I could. The hardest one was turning of the TV. After that I ate properly, fruits/veggies that gave me the energy too be active, I drank a lot of water and stayed away from the fast foods.
It took some time, a few months but I felt better and before I knew it I was growing a 1.5 cm's a month. I stretched right out plus I was in great shape, both physically and mentally.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

If you have a bike then ride a mile every day for a month or you can use weights for 1 hour a day for one month. Trust me I had the same problem, and this is what worked for me.
