"Veux-tu m'accompagner au bal (ce soir)" OR "Veux-tu aller au bal avec moi ce soir." I know the word "bal" sounds like something extravagant, but it simply means "dance" - the word "prom" might confuse a French person as this concept does not really exist in France (as another poster pointed out).

- we don't have proms in France, so I'm not sure about any further particulars that you'd want to get into.
ETA: "vous" is very formal, unless you're asking a professor, I wouldn't use it :-)

oui! that's about all the french i now haha but i think that would be lovely, the guy who asked me to prom just said do you want to go in the mini (his car) haha, so yeah its nice that your making the effort, she wont really care what you do its just sweet that you are making such an effort :)
