Sometimes when I talk about God or Jesus people start to cry or get tears in their eyes? What makes bringing up your faith makes people cry? I don't understand this.

Im not sure but its odd that you ask this.
I am agnostic and when I hear people talk about God and having faith sometimes I would get teary eyed too. For me it is frustration. There were times when I feel like I am missing out on something everyone else talks about. I would get frustrated when people tell me "you have to have faith" and I have tried that. I mean really tried. So maybe some of the people you talk to are or have been in my shoes or maybe they just feel like they dont feel it as strongly as you...with that thier is a degree of loss and grief.
Anyway now I am very content being agnostic and dont long to find what everyone else has. (putting this clause at the end of my post in the hopes that no one feels compelled to email me and tell me to "have faith" or how I am gonna "burn in hell")

because - if you're talking about your testimony, what God's done for you...no one can argue with that. People who don't believe in God can argue with you over every Scripture or teaching you can throw at them. But, they can't argue with personal testimony - why is that, because you lived it. You can't argue with that. So, it becomes more real for people.
Sometimes - they'll see something or sense something in you that maybe they also can relate to, or feel that they are missing.
Why does bringing up your faith make people cry? I reckon 9 times out of 10 it's because you have something they don't - which means it's a great opportunity to do something about it and spread it around! :)

Blessings.

Good question. Mostly when people cry, it is generally due to devotional sentiments, however these sentiments are not usually pure. Still it is good unless one is trying to put on a show. Jesus was pleased with an ''impure'' woman who used her tears to wash his feet. The point is that we generally cry for things of the body- wife, boyfriend, car, house, kids etc. To cry for that Supreme Personality who is eager for our own salvation is the best form of deliverance. He says that if call His name He will certainly deliver you. When one is situated on the perfect platform of devotion tears flowing and hair standing on end, is natural- this is pure ecstatic emotions with no material touch.. in that experience one feels the greatest joy.So crying to the holy name is desired so we can come to the realisation of being in this world and not of it.

I cry every time i hear anything about god or Jesus. Some times they are tears from uncontrollable laughter, other times they are tears of embarrassment for simply being part of the human race.

It happens to me too... fantastically on the commencing up of my walk God. It does not happen plenty now, yet as one individual stated, God IS love and love is an emotion which each and every so often convey that reaction. For me crying became basically one in all them, there are circumstances whilst i'm so ecstatic i shout; yet i permit all of it out. persons get emotional over stupid issues and stupid human beings (evaluate what number persons have fainted basically simply by fact Michael Jackson touched them, or sang of their presence) how plenty extra could the astonishing skill of God make us experience. embody the sensation, do no longer end conversing approximately Him, get to be attentive to Him even extra effective, you would be happy you probably did. Be blessed.

Dear first of all I would like to congatulate u for spreading the word of GOD. Dear yes that may happen but please carry on with ur work of GOD as often the sentences spoken by u with the help of the Holy Spirit stirs up their spirit within them. Their mistakes and still the persistant love of JESUS gives them the realization and thereby they cry. Which washes away their guilt.

Are you speaking ill of Jesus? That could make people cry. Assuming you are not then I would guess that the people you are talking with are very strong in their faith and the thought of their Lord makes them emotional.

It's because your voice has the anointing of God in it. God is speaking through you and bringing consolation and healing to their hearts and minds. It also means there hearts are receptive to what the Holy Spirit is saying through you. That's a very good thing.

Well, what are you telling them? Perhaps you are someone , or say something, they can really relate to. It's kind of common from time to time to discuss something God has done in your life and get that reaction. Maybe you are a very good speaker who can express what others can't and it gets emotional to hear someone say what they feel, but can't express. I suppose it simply means they are moved by what you are saying. I think that's probably a good thing, don't you?

Either you're unintentionally offending people of other religions or you're really good at making people look at the good things about god and making them feel bad without even trying
