I did not hurt anyone and no one hurt me. But my life is not going forward and I do not want to hurt my family by killing myself. Kindly pray for me to die.

when thing get hard and all seem lost then is the time to look to God for deliverance.
I don't know what you are, and have been going through, but I have been through some very trying time, and i can tell you that if you put your trust in Jesus and ask for his help. He will see you through.
he can turn ever thing that is bad, into good, something the things that are the worst, are the things that lead you to the greatest thing in your life.
and Yes i will be praying for you.

I am praying for you right now, not that you would die, but that God would reveal Himself to you in a very real way.

From before the world was ever here, or anything that you see around you existed, He knew that you would be alive, and He created you for a distinct purpose. I have not only been where you are, but so has every other person that I know. It is not unusual--it is a very important step to acknowledging that outside of God, there really is no point in living on this planet. All of the experiences, pain, frustrations and joys, along with your interests and abilities, were given to you for a single purpose: to equip you to become a unique person in His plan.

That might sound like absolute nonsense to you right now, but I am going to challenge you--if you are open to dying, be open to living, and figuring out why it is that you now feel like life is no longer worth it. Someone has convinced you that you are not worthy of the life that God has given you, and that is absolute claptrap. Yes, you have probably screwed up your fair share of things like the rest of us, and yes, you have probably fallen way short of other people's expectations. Join the club.

We live in a fallen world that is filled with pain--you have already recognized that it will cause your family pain if you die. That is the first step, because it is not just your family that is hurt in this--it grieves your maker who put you on this planet for a special reason. I cannot tell you what it is, but I ask you to be open to this fact, and search it out.

If you have been seeking the help of a professional therapist, I would encourage you to start asking some deeper questions as well. Why am I here? If it is all just about now, and I die, will it really end, or is there more after this?

You are asking for prayer, so you have already acknowledged there is someone to pray to. You are correct. And He wants YOU to talk to Him, and to find the meaning for your life that He created you to achieve.

There are millions of people just like you right now. One of these days you will find them, and help them, and then possibly realize one of the reasons you went through this "dark night of the soul."

The first step to finding meaning is admitting that there is no meaning outside of something larger than you. You have already gotten there. The next thing you need to do is ask who that is, and listen. He is calling to you--if you have a Bible nearby, I urge you to pick it up and read the gospel of John.

And I am still praying for you...

Hey, all of life is a test! Asking GOD for death is not the answer. And you won't pass the test by skipping out. Try asking GOD for the patience to endure your test. Accept the good in your life as gifts from GOD and know the bad is from you or other humans.

I always ask GOD for the 5 "P's":

GOD's Patience
GOD's Peace
GOD's Power
GOD's Protection
GOD's Provision

I am not being flipant, and I do sympathize, but try to rise above the present. Life is a temporary situation. Don't let it get you down. Many live very troubling and difficult lives. They don't pray for GOD to let them die. They praise GOD in the midst of the hardship. They are patient. Trust GOD and thank GOD for all things.

Amberwaves251 gave a good prayer. I think that you should pray to God for help instead of a prayer for death. Don't matter what you are going through the Lord can help. Just talk to him and tell him your troubles. This is just a trial that you are going through. Do not listen to the devil.

That sounds so weird.God ..has not created any being without a reason. So there is definitely a strong reason behind ur creation as well. How can you pray for your own death when you did not create your own self?? Does it make any sense to you.Your life may not be going forward..but it may matter to those around you.You must be a source of happiness for your family, friends and many others.Let me put it this way,a mother loves her child selflessly.when she has a child, she puts her life, her priorities, her career..everything behind n takes care of that child with utmost love..without asking for any reward or wotsoever. So is when God creates people,he does not want anything in return. But as his creation..its our duty to thank him for whatever he has given us and for all his blessings.I would suggest that..whoever u are,ur religion..just pray strongly to God,for his blessings,to show u the right path and guide you in everyway. He will definitely bless u for what u want.A sincere ,true prayer coming from an honest heart never goes unanswered.Trust me.there is no prayer for death..coz God will take u only when he wants u back.the reason u r still alive no matter what ur life is going through..is bcoz He wants you to do something and make use of ur life. The life which is given to u as a blessing and gift.so stop sulking and put ur heart n soul in achieving ur goals. If ur faith in God is strong..ur life will surely move ahead. All the best.

Sounds like you are going through some pretty tough times. As much as i empathize, perhaps you need to seek the advice of a trusted friend or professional who are more prepared to handle your request, other then posting a question here.
The only prayer i actually utilize is "Thy Will, Not Mine Be Done"
Seeking only for knowledge of gods will for us and the power to carry that out.

You can do it! Your trials are no more difficult than others in the world. What does "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". If you fail in the day of adversity your strength is small.
God doesn't want you dead- He wants you to overcome and tell others how you did it. The best days are ahead for you! I'll pray that you overcome in Jesus name. Find a verse in Psalms and hang on to Gods word for you.

Why would you pray for death?! We need to pray and thank God for the life He has given us. Pray for strength and guidance.

God doesn't grant sucide prayers, but Satan hears them. Be careful, you are walking on the edge of a place you DON'T WANT TO BE! I have something a little better then a death prayer if you don't mind.
