I have a TCL dvd player model no. TD- V19,which claims that it can play dvd's but some dvd when i try to play it gives an message "no disc".the same disc runs fine in when played in computer.though the tcl plays some dvd's,but in certain disc its giving this message.any solutions?

Dust particle may deposit on the lens of dvd player and may cause such a problem. Some times the problem may be rectified by using a dvd's lens cleaning CD. Lens cleaning CD also decreasing the life of lens.
The problem is due to
1. Dust in the lens
2.DVD's are in dirty.
3. DVD's may be written in fast mode.
4. DVD lens' active may be lost,
5. The absence of the correct tuning and exact placement
of dvd's lens.
you can write dvds in slow writing mode, 2.4 x , the problem may be rectified.......... If it persits , contact the company's appropriate person for repairing.........
