Human resource department or so called HR department is a division of a company where they hire new staff take care of their work and see that if they are doing it according the cotract,

they also prepare the salary for staff and then send to finance department for paying them,

in general HR department is taking care of all staff and their rights, but as for as I am not in India I cant give you the answer of where to find place in Gujrata

Human Resources is a new name for "Personnel Department." They are in charge of interviewing for jobs, keeping records on current employees, etc.

But I see you live in India so it may mean something else.
