Christians: Usually optimistic and hopeful.
Atheists: Usually not easily swayed or fooled.
There are negatives as well...but you didn't ask for those.

The atheist seem to be more willing to say something positive about the Christians without injecting a jab along with it. It's making me kind of ashamed of my christian community and giving me a new respect for the atheist (at least the ones answering this question).

There's an old song from World War Two that goes, "You've got to accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, and latch on to the superlative, don't mess with Mr. Inbetween.
I'm the Pagan in between.

I agree...I have some really cool Christian friends and we all do have some of the best conversations about faith and life over coffee. Just because two people don't have the same beliefs doesn't mean they can't get along well.

Most of my friends are Christians. We've had some great discussions without losing our cool or our mutual respect, and I value the fact that they never try to convert me.

Most of them have brains. Some are quite nice. Some are interesting. Some are honest with themselves and others. And according to them, most are good people and I believe them. When they're not upset, they are pretty logical. But then all that describes all humanity doesn't it?

Christians: most of you are ordinary ppl, ranging from ordinary mean people to ordinary awesome people, and most of my best friends come from your religion, although I have never talked to them about religion & the most it has affected me is possibly not hanging out on a Sunday or Wednesday.

I have some nifty Christian friends who don't support legislating religious doctrine into secular law and enjoy movies like Dogma as much as I do.
