you know we are all going to tell you to go to the Dr. If the 1st one doesn't help you go to another. This definitely sounds like damage was done to your lower back and legs when your son was born. A Dr can help ease the pain while you are waiting for a diagnosis. Best wishes.

Get checked for an impinged sciatic nerve.
It is the most common cause of lower back and leg pain.
Stop with the stretches untill you know exactly what is wrong. If it is a pinched nerve, or damage disk (how difficult was your labor, btw. Women with very difficult/painfull deliveries have a MUCH increased chance of something being damaged) excessive movement could actually be dangerous.
Get to a doctor, have them reffer you to a pain management specialist, neuroligist, and orthopedic surgeon for evaluation.
It is a VERY good idea to see ALL THREE, because they'll all have different thoughts on it.
Please go to a doctor and get this treated, and whatever you do, do not take no for an answer. If your doctor tells you it's all in your head, or it's growing pains, tell them to shove it. (BTW, there's NO SUCH THING as growing pains! It has been proven to either be a vitamin deficiancy or a trigger point/chronic myofacial pain)
Soo many doctors told my mother that after she had me, and FINALLY, they thought "Hey, let's not be retards and actually TREAT our patient by getting her an MRI" and guess what?
Herniated disk in her FAR lower back.
Educate yourself, and STAND YOUR GROUND!
Millions of people live with chronic pain like yours EVERY DAY, and don't get treatment due to some random reason.
Right now, as soon as you read this, CALL YOUR DOCTOR!
Demand that it be treated.
Good luck ma'am, and please get some help for your pain...
