I wear my fringe pinned back and the rest of my hair
in a neat tidy ponytail.
Does anyone know how to make my hair look a bit
more out there whilst its still in a ponytail?
I've seen girls with lovely messy ponytails.
How do i do that?

That's always a tough one for me. I would reccomend straightening your hair first until it is VERY flat. Apply a hair gel or any other product you like to use. Then, wrap it into a somewhat loose LOW ponytail, and give it a shake. Then squeeze it tight. Add a light hairspray to enforce the look. That usually works, and would look way cute if you wair your fringe down and swooped to the side. Layers that frame the face also add a nice touch.

ok well this is what i do....
1. run my fingers through my hair at the sides (don't like smooth it! use your fingers and run it through)
2. spread your fingers so you can get the rest of your hair that's at the bottom
3. then when all the hair is up then take one hand and run your fingers through the top of your hair so that it's a little bit smoother.
4. then start switching hand really fast moving around your ponytail
5. make sure that it's in REALLY tight
6. then if you are able to flip your head up and down a few times so that it looks a little messier...
7. then smooth out the really BAD imperfections.

Get your hair framed around your face....that way strands will purely of course fall out of the ponytail. additionally do a messy bun....the final time you loop your scrunchie around your ponytail do not pull it each and each of how through.

messy ponytails are a gr8 way to change your look easily. all you have to do is get hairspray and a comb, spray your ponytail and comb upwards in a messy fashion, you can mess it up with your hands for extra mess, use extra pretty clips and bows to add to the look!!!

There are small hairpieces you can purchase that match your hair color, which are already styled like that. It was popularized by "Friends," so there are lots of them around in beauty supply stores.
