I have a rockford T1 mono 1000 watt amp already will that work?

There's no need to over-power. Make sure the Rockford amp's power rating matches the impedance of the subwoofers; ie, if the amp is rated for 1000 watts at 1 ohm, make sure that's what the total subwoofer impedance will be.

If the impedance matches, and if you have 2 of the Type R subs, then that amp should be an ideal match for them.

how many subs man! i can really answer the question dude, sorry! and rockford dont make a t1 amp dude, sorry!

More than enogh running them at 2 ohm mono will be alright if you use more the surround will come apart and then o well!
