it is quite possible that your hair is what is causing the pimples. when you are not around other people try keeping your hair up as much as possible. most pimples only last 2 or 3 days. more if you irritate them. but they should go away if you keep your skin and hair clean. Are these pimples on your scalp? Face? Neck?

Some of your other answers are correct about long hair causing pimples and blackheads. The oil on oil is a disaster. One anwer about using alcohol is extreme. It will cause you alot of trouble!!! I have 2 teenagers that use anacne medicine called Pro-Active. This is a life-saver for both kids. Another thing that would help is to use a blackhead eliminating pad for cleansing. For the alcohol or drying up use a good astringent. If one does not work keep trying for the right one for your skin

The Pro-Active can be ordered on line. It has been endorsed on television by Jessica Simpson. You have probably seen it . It truly works....Good Luck!

some doctors think hair, like bangs, can cause pimples to be worse in the area they cover because bacteria in the pores breed better in the darker covered place. In other words the pimples may be reduced if your hair is short. You could try it. Hair can grow back out. Have you been to a Dr for your pimples? They can help many people.

Several things -wash your hair twice a week. The oil from your hair transfers to your shoulders and clogs the pores, which causes the pimples. Wear your hair up frequently. Wash the spot under your hair twice a day.
These are common, don't let them upset you.
