All kids love a treasure-hunt, searching in groups with clues.
Pinata's are a favorite of everyone. One of the prizes can be stickers - or plastic bracelets - all kids love them.
Think of something the kids can make to take home.
I was at a dollar store and saw visors of colorful foam that can be decorated by either adding foam cut-outs or ribbons, or markers.
Kids also love flags or pin-wheels or bubbles
One game the kids from age 4-up will cheer for is when you have teams that run relays with a cup to fill-up a small water container to overflowing. The spills are half the fun!

Okay, you don't want themed anything.....and no organized games. So, how about you have the people you want over and watch a movie and leave out toys and coloring books and such. Leave out stuff for every age group and tell them to share. It'll be easy. As for cake and present time, do food then cake then presents. Let everything go with the flow. I like your style. It'll be a nice, easy birthday party. Also ask your daughter what she wants too! Good luck!

I would definitely go with a pinata if I were you, and a large one that is hard to break, so it'll last through all of them. Start with your daughter, since it's her birthday, then do the youngest children through the oldest. Make the older ones be blindfolded (and some young ones IF they want) to make it more fun. My son is having his second birthday and we're having a lot of our friends over who don't even have kids, but we're going to have 2 pinatas... one for the kids, one for the adults.
Have fun!

You might want to do " Pin the Tail on the Donkey", Kareoke contest to one of her favorite songs, water balloons, and may be even a jump house! (if you can afford it, and remember, just things I thought were fun when I was little).
