What is your favorite variety of Sam Adams beer?

My vote goes to "Black lager"

Black Lager is too dark for me. I like dark beer, but Black Lager is so dark that it actually absorbs light out of the room. I like Oktoberfest or the Wheat Ale.

I personally like the Winter Brew, or Boston Lager on tap. I don't really like Sam Adams in bottles, just tap.

Utopias!

At over $100 a bottle ... if, when, and where it can be found ... I have only ever split one single bottle with friends.

You asked what is my favorite ... not my favorite that I can actually find and afford to buy when I do.

Beyond that I usually prefer to pass on the Sam Adams and go for just about anything from Dogfish Head or Goose Island instead.

Sam Adams makes good beer, and performance finished a stunning service to the Microbrew communities. they have tremendous ability at brewing beer, making new sorts of beer, and prevailing awards. in spite of the indisputable fact that, i in my opinion imagine they look somewhat over rated. they at the on the spot aren't any more a "microbrewery", and each and every time you start up increasing quantity to the scales they have, high quality is going to wade through somewhat. i'm consistently dissatisfied with their LongShot kit. even as the LongShot beers are good, I assure the unique recipes from the homebrewers that created them were a lot a lot more effective.
