What special measures are required (if any) to keep a blood sample fresh (regular small sample taken by your GP) , while in transportation/delivery for 2to5days?

It depends on what the test is for. Some assays require that blood be frozen, refrigerated, or kept at room temperature. Some tests require that the plasma or serum be seperated from the cells and kept at a certain temperature. It really depends on what on your blood is being tested for.
