find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

To tell you the truth, cutting down on carbs isn't a smart idea, despite what these new fad diets want to tell you. The best way to lose weight is to plan out a balanced diet (so many servings of grain, fruit, veggies, meat, etc etc) and then reduce the portions.

So say you have a bagel and cream cheese in the morning with a cup of coffee. You could reduce the amount of cream cheese you put on the bagel, or substitute the cream cheese for low-sugar jelly. Put less milk/cream/sugar in your coffee.

Cutting down on little things that you put in food like butter, salt, salad dressing, and etc etc can really make a difference in your weight. Also, non-diet sodas can have a huge effect on your weight. When my grandma moved out of our house, which is a diet soda only area, she gained almost twenty pounds just going back to non-diet soda.

Then reduce portions of the food. If you have 16oz cup of coffee in the morning (a medium gas station cup) shrink it down to an 8oz (same goes with soda). Switch from whole milk to 2% or fat free. Get a side salad for lunch rather than a full salad.

Cutting back on carbs or sweets or anything isn't going to do anything but drag you down. Not to mention no-carb diets are extremely BAD for your health since your body uses carbohydrates for basic energy. You can have your chocolate, just cut down on the amount (and switch to dark- it's better for your heart!).

Also, cutting back on beer was a great choice! Nothing bulges the belly like alcohol, especially beer.

If your a woman, don't fret if the diet doesn't seem to work right away, or even if you gain weight in the first week! Our bodies can be just plain mean to us, so ignore the little changes and stick to your plan!

The weight-loss programs advocate lowering the carbohydrates in your meal. But over a period of time, it gives the same results as low calorie carbohydrate rich diet. Low carbohydrate diet causes ketosis, resulting in lower cholesterol levels and body weight. However, the doctors doubt the long-term safety of these programs.

okay first you eat right. do the diet it works. always check nutrition of everything. look for mostly sugar. eating too much sugar give u pimple and is very bad for u, u can get diabetes. eat breakfast th emost important meal of the day. if u don't its bad because as you grow older you wouldnt feel as much energy as a young person as u r now. excercise of course everyday at least 45 minutes a day.
