NO, THAT IS NOT TRUE...I had to give a presentation about italian stereotypes for my italian language class and that was one of them... it is not true....you can't categorize that...
even though they are very charming, that does not mean they are cheaters...I know a few italian guys who are not cheaters and have been very faithful to their gfs

Tell your dad he needs to find better friends. What is he doing hanging out with a bunch of guys that cheat on their wives? If your italian stallion is not a native italian, maybe his grandfather lived/lives in italy, then he may have shed some of the cultural effects on his libido. Let's understand that marriage is a traditional institution and traditions vary from culture to culture. So, in Italy, lovers, concubines, etc., may have been a more acceptable practice. But, an italian that has never lived in Italy, might not exhibit those same cultural values.

My husband is Italian and has been in the country for about 6 years. Nothing is ever a guarantee in any relationship, but I tell you he doesn't raise any of my flags so far. He's always home even when he didn't have to be. If he is doing anything, he's superb at hiding it ..ehehe. I think any man or woman is capable of cheating. You might consider finding good qualities in Italians as a people and backfire those to him.

All men cheat. I don't know where you come from, but I'm American and too many American men cheat on their wives and girlfriends. A lot of women (Americans) I know are divorced because their American husbands had the wandering eye. With this said, marry the man you fall in love with and hope he's a good man because there are good and bad men in every background.

That's very insulting. My father is Italian and he is a very faithful man, hard working, and an excellent father. It is not the nationality, but the individual, that causes problems like cheating.

Italian men cheat so what about English men ,African men Chinese men and so on and so on. If we label people ,I wonder what tag your father will have hanging round is neck. There are good people and bad people in every community .If you love him give him a chance to prove your dad is wrong.

That's horrible! Just so you know, that's WAY stereotypical. He shouldn't say that. I'm SURE every Italian man hasn't cheated. Don't take his advice... but that's just my advice!

No. I know some very nice italian man. That is being unjust and unfair if he says that. He should not just base it on his prejudice. Before he makes any unfair judgements he should meet the boy and find out about him.

I sure as hell hope not since I date an Italian man. But anyway, who is your father to tell you who to date? You are the one in the relationship, not him.

if you are grown you can do what ever you want.Your father is not the one who wants to marry an italian man so do what you feel is in your heart.Anyway how would he know unless he has been married to an italian man.
