how do you tell a friend of yours that his butt really smells without insulting him? everytime he sits down and gets up he leaves this incredible funk.. its just not human.. i need a way of telling him about it that wont hurt his feelings.. does he have a condition he cant help? everytime he sits in my car i have to leave the window down a crack.

You could look up possible reasons for it and then say that someone at work or school or someplace was talking about the increasingly global butt odor problem and why it occurs. You could even say it was a weird conversation but you can't get it out of your mind. Then leave it at that. See if your friend goes to stage two in his own head ... do I do any of these things that cause such an odor>
Who knows ...

whoa.. that was definately an interesting question.
It's really sweet that you don't want to hurt your friend's feelings.
I don't really know if there is an easy way of saying "hey dude your butt stanks!" tell him very gently don't laugh or make him feel more embarressed than he has to.
Just think, if you don't tell him soon he'll go on like this and embarres himself even more. It's better for you (don't have to smell the stink) and him (he can stop embarresing himself) faster.

Please tell him. You just can't let him walk around with his backyard giving off a bad odor. Just tell him, "No offense, but your behind is kind of giving off a bad odor." Or something like that. I'm sure he'll understand, I had a similar situation with...that time of the month. If you want to, tell him you found a girl on Yahoo had a situation where she was walking around with bloody pants that definitely gave off a bloody odor. When my friend told me, I got changed quickly, and had to use heavier...you know what's. Now I'm laughing at the story!

Always say something like,"what the hell is that smell"? or,
Do you smell that ****?
Hey someone has a rare condition that needs medical response!
I hate to be that person with that smell!
Am sure glad your a clean guy!
Maybe he should put baby powder there.

you can tell him, or someone else can
tell him that you arent trying to be mean or embarrass him but u think he should go to the doctor because he has rectum odor, tell him you arent trying to be mean and that you just wanna help. DONT SAY IT INFRONT OF PEOPLE THOUGH!!!

I think your gonna have to show him how to wash it,

Be Direct! if it's your guy friend, let him have it!! tell him his booty stank, he needs to give his butt some more soap lovin, he must wash his stankin a ss if he ever wants to even talk to a girl again.
he's a big guy, he can handle it. as his friend, you've GOTTA tell him.

there's no need to be delicate about it - if he doesn't already have enough sense to know to wash his crack, he's not going to have the sense to be offended
