Of course, I mean turning them down, NOT encouraging them. I don't want to be tacky or embarass them too much.

I need a good way to say it subtley, because I don't want to sound egotistical, maybe they weren't trying to flirt but it just seemed like it.

If you talk on a daily basis, just in general chat say something like "my husband and i ...." or "Oh yea! My husband is into the same thing." Or something like that. That's what I do.

Mid-conversation, mention your husband. For example, if you're talking about movies, and the guy says he likes Star Wars, say "My husband tried to get me into watching that, but I just can't get into it."

If you know the guy in person (not over the phone, internet, or email), you should have a ring. Make it obvious.

Keep in mind, though, some guys just flirt, so you don't want to have a talk with him or bring this up only to find out he's not exactly hitting on you.

Do you wear a wedding ring? That should say it all. If he doesn't notice or care, you don't have to mention you are married, or any other personal information. Just say no thanks. If you want to let him know that you are married, just say "I'm sure you're very nice, but so is my husband and I'm expecting him momentarily".

keep touching, feeling and fidgeting your wedding ring on your ring finger, that should be a very loud and clear message.
