I have the same problem. I've heard that the skin under my eyes is really thin, so more of the blue shows through than it does for others. For a while, I used a Nars concealer under my eyes, and that worked okay.
Recently I have been using Jane Iredale's undereye product called Circle Delete. I use #2, and I love it! It's a more natural product, looks smooth (not cakey) on my skin, and brightens the whole eye area. It also contains some oils and vitamins that support undereye skin. It's a little pricey, but it's the kind of makeup where a tiny amount goes a long way. It's worked really well for me, & I highly recommend it to anyone else who gets asked if they're tired, or if they have a black eye.
I've never tried an undereye cream, but it's definitely worth looking into.

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Clinique just came out with a new eye product about 2 months ago called All About Eyes Rich that I love. It is a little pricey, but I use it every night and see a definite reduction in the darkness under my eyes.

it is reallllly the best thing i used for under eye black circles..

DONT USE THE GREEN CONCEALER..it is for the red pimples..its made to cover the redness of the pimples u got :s and if u use it under ur eyes (the really sensitive area) it will be itchy and dry and the skin there will be infected..

Take two moistened teabags, place them in the cooler; once they are frozen, place them over your dark circles. The tannins should help you.
