Not me, thanks anyway. I'd like to get rid of the wife I have but I can't afford to lose the house.

Here are my concerns with polygamy.
We women tend to be jealous of our husbands. I don't think I could stand the idea of another woman sleeping with my husband. While there may be more women than men who want to be married, there are a lot of problems that result from a patriarchal society.
Take Warren Jeff's followers. If you do some reading on that culture, the women are expected to be pregnant and have a LOT of children. Can this father support that many children? What type of life do these children have.
Another problem is that in a culture like that, there ends up being a rivalry for claiming a stake in getting a wife. Because some men end up with more than their fair share of wives, other men are not able to compete for a wife. In Warren Jeff's cult, one of his nephews reportedly was cast out. His crime? Kissing one of the teenaged girls who ended up marrying a much older man.
The reason I oppose it is because there are a lot of problems for the children and the women involved.

I have one wife - she is loving and gorgeous, she is all i have ever wanted in a partner.
And why is the question about a man having two wives - why not a woman having two husbands

I think it is okay as long as all three or more are in agreement with having more than one wife. And I think that if men can have more than one wife, women should be able to have more than one husband.
But, personally, I would only want one husband, and I would want to be his only wife.

God no - they'd probably get into some catfight, and put each other in traction, if not outright kill each other.
I think one wife is more than enough. (Some would argue one wife is one too many.)

My husband says NO WAY! It costs too much and he is too tired! Kidding aside, it is against the law in case you haven't heard!

How about one of each gender? After all if I am going to get accused of being a "greedy bisexual", I might as well live up to eh? ;-)
