JWs have only the Bible for their authority. The LDS Church recognizes the Pearl of Great Price, The Book of Mormon, and the Bible when it is correctly translated. Both have extremely different doctrines of salvation compared to Fundamentalist Christians such as Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Anglican,
Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Charismatic, Pentecostal, etc.
JWs believe that only 144,000 people may be born again.
Mormons require baptism for the dead(those who didn't get baptized) and encourage males to enter into both the Aaronic and Melchizedek Priesthood.
These positions are clearly frowned upon by Fundamentalists.

nicely, Jehovah's Witnesses have confidence only what's taught in the Bible. it is unique between the three. As regards a soul, Genesis 2:7 identifies what a soul is. "God proceeded to style the guy out of dirt from the floor and to blow into his nostrils the breath of existence, and the guy got here to be a residing SOUL." It under no circumstances says a soul became an upload-on, yet a human will become a residing soul. maximum each and all the thousand or so translations now in use agree it is the main spectacular translation. Now the different 2 religions have their own dreamed up suggestions of what the soul is. yet it is what the Bible itself teaches. Can the soul die or is it immortal? returned going to the Bible at Ezekiel 18:4, ". 4 look! each and all the souls—to me they belong. simply by fact the soul of the daddy so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die." Repeating, "The soul that is sinning—it itself will die." that is not immortal, putting around bothering the residing. alongside with this, the question of do all human beings sin? This too needs to be responded. Romans 5:12 does respond. "for this reason, purely as through one guy sin entered into the international and dying through sin, and in this occasion dying unfold to all adult men because they had all sinned—." for this reason all of us die in spite of all efforts. Inherited sin exceeded down from Adam. considering it is what the Bible teaches, it is what Jehovah's Witnesses have confidence. you hit upon the others all get their suggestions from pagan religions like hellfire and souls being eternal as ghosts. in fact, that's the place they are growing to be to be maximum of their teachings. each and all the holiday trips come from there relabeled. different than Easter, which they stole from pagans without changing something. there are a number of different issues diverse. This only hits the intense factors, which ought to comprise using God's own call translated into English as Jehovah or Yahweh. The Bible tells us to apply that call and declare it as Jesus did at John 17:4-5. the different religions attempt to conceal it, bury it as much as they are able to. information is got here across in the KJV of 1611, the only maximum folk have of their residences. There the divine call is used 4 circumstances. (Exodus 6:3; Psalm eighty 3:18; Isaiah 12:2; 26:4. ) yet in the Revised KJV, it is scratched out fullyyt. that is fake religions doing that.

Well honestly I don't know allot about Mormon beliefs. I would suggest going to a Mormon and a Witness and asking both faiths the same questions. Our official site is http://www.watchtower.org.
If you ask specific queries I can answer them.
PLEASE do not just listen to what you read on here. Clearly allot of the ones who answer here either don't know our beliefs, or if they do know them, don't care about being honest about our beliefs.

I read recently that the average time someone stays with the Kingdom Hall mob is 5 years before they wise up and get out. Mormons might last longer.

The only commonality they have is that they were both spawned by the Campbellite movement. Jehovah Witnesses are Arian and the Mormons are polytheistic. Both claim to be followers of Christ but one denies His divinity and the other believes he is just one of many gods.

Too many to list but they both are considered a CULT.
A Cult is a group that beliefs depend on man made writings, over Biblical ones. Though some do use the Bible their tenets of their "Church"~ rules, rites, teaching, writtings over the Biblical ones.
