If it keeps occuring and you can sincerely see a pattern, you have to ask your self how well do you really know the guy? Are you more in tune with what he tells u then how he truly is? If you can be critical enough upon the relationship then you just might see you don't know him as well as you thought you did, your just hanging on to what he has made himself out to be. When enough is enough you'll know deep down inside. Maybe letting him go is easier said then done, but it's you that you keep hurting not him by not letting him go.

It isn't a matter of a number. It's different for different people and situations. When she decides that enough is enough then she can look back and count. When somebody swears he's gonna change - this is the time to leave I think, or ask "What are you going to do to make this change? obviously, you haven't changed so far. How is it going to be differet this time?" Unless he says something productive like he'll go to councelling - there is no reason to think that he will change.

Well it all depends on the situation. I would say 2-3 (again; depending on the situation) From what you said, My advice would be to kick him to the curb. 95% of all long distance relationships just don't work.

this jerk should have been kicked to the curb long ago but she has to wake up on her own and realize he really do not want her at all.I would think he is using her and the most of long distance relationships do not work out anyway.

It is her choice, it depends how much she cares about him. Seems if you love someone you give them more chances that you would anyone else. Only she knows when she has had enough. I'd say if he has lied more than 2x to her and done stuff to her, he isn't going to change. Everyone deserves a second chance, but 3,4,5, etc., I don't think so.

She should have dropped him a long time ago...the most 2 or 3 chances but when you feel you love someone you loose count♥

I use the three strike rule.

1. everbody is entited to make a mistake

2. everybody has done something stupid when they had too much to drink

3. You get one repeat just because that's life and no bodies perfect

4. Your out the door

If I were you I would get rid of him. Find some one close to home. He may even be married or seeing some one were he lives.
